i am not exactly a knifemaker. well i am not at all a knifemaker so i might not belong here but here is my question

cord wrapping, i am able to do it but i wanna make the knife waterproof so any tips on this
do i dip it in water first cos from what i notice, cord loosens itself when wet
secondly i know to seal the cord with some epoxy (heh from www.knivesby.com) but what do you mean by epoxy? is it glue form what types of shops can i get that
living in asia its gonna be difficult getting your brands but so what is that form of epoxy used for initially so that i can dirct my attention in that direction

thanks a lot for the advice

Use the epoxy they use to laminate fiberglass.
Boatmaking-supliestores might sell it.
It will be two (clear) liquids you mix 1 on 1.

thanks for the info... dang might be a little hard to come by but something in that vein should be good
thanks again
