My pics are terrible, I know, but I wanted to share this beauty with you. It's a Joe Cordova Chute (stock removal) made under the tutelage of Bob Loveless in the early '70's (I was born in '73, so it may be older than I am). Joe confirmed this with me when I had the opportunity to meet him at Blade several years ago.

It has walnut scales over nice silver (aluminum maybe) and black phenolic liners. The sheath is first rate also. It has a 5" 440 stainless blade; 9.5" overall. It's numbered #015, so I'm guessing there's some more of these floating around out there. Anybody know of any? Anybody got one?

It feels great in the hand; the walnut is warm to the touch. The knife is balanced right behind the guard, and moves in the hand like a true fighter should.

It's nice having a piece like this that I can fondle, carry, and appreciate for it's quality without the inclination to keep it locked away like a Loveless.

Maybe I'll get around to some better pics of this one sometime soon. Thanks all.

Professor.

Beautiful looking knife, I especially like those liners.

Thanks for sharing it with us.

I have a forged Loveless style hunter in 52100 with desert ironwood that was my first custom knife purchase ever. It is also a user that has spent some time with some elk that I have been fortunate enough to score.
