Cordura Sheath Makers - anyone here on BF?

I just looked through the posts here - Sheath Makers and Such of Blade Forums and have tried to find something in the history but no luck.

So - I'm asking - can anyone recommend or link me to a reputable sheath maker using cordura? I have (will have) a few knives that need sheaths with tech clips and I'd rather not use Kydex or leather.

Thanks for any info.

Really - no such maker. I'm surprised. Cordura sheaths are • quiet • rugged • dry fast • don't encourage blade spots like leather does • what's not to like?

I'm sure Codura sheaths are all you have mentioned, but in general they are also relatively cheap, and therefore most people would run backwards at the price quote for a custom made Codura sheath. You see the labor would be about the same as making a nice high quality leather sheath, plus the fact that most, if not all of us have a nice inventory of leather, but no Codura on hand. This means additional expense to buy the materials necessary for what would be for most of us a very limited or even one time market. There are many sources for the factory made one size fits all type Codura sheaths (Google is your friend), and for the most part they are CHEAP in every sense of the word. They may fit adequately or not so much. It's kind of "luck of the draw".

I'm sorry no one jumped in to answer you before now and I wish you luck in finding what you want, but maybe the fore going will answer why you didn't get much response

Best regards,

Paul

Check out some one who is not a paid advertiser on BFC. This guy makes some amazing stuff.

He's got a thread going over at the some other place that isn't BFC.

I know what you are saying and your comment (in blue) is exactly my concern - should I say - my complaint. Maybe this is an untapped market?
