Hey all - I'm looking to get a cordura sheath for my M9CG and would also like to piggyback the RMD on it as well in a separate cordura sheath that could be removed. I've never had a set up like this and think it would be really cool. I only have basic Kydex sheaths for my Rats right now. Looking for any and all suggestions if you have them although I really don't want a leather setup. Post any pictures if you have anything you think will help. Can you point me in the direction of any manufacturers and/or other forum members? Thanks in advance for the help.;)

I have my M9s in Scrapyard 10 inch sheaths. I'm sure you could rig something up to the front for your RMD.

You should check out the Lost Mountain Iron Works Footlong sheath for the M9. There may be a bit of a wait due to a large volume of recent orders but they look sweet... I don't have mine yet so I can't say from experience but there are several threads around here and the Busse forum about them.

As for the piggyback option you would have to find someone who does custom work, but just about everyone I know of does leather and Kydex not Cordura.

The Specops Combat Master sheaths are another good option.

Personally I think leather is really the way to go for piggy setups, I have a Hoss rig for a BWM and piggy Ratmandu on order from Armoralleather, Dwayne AKA Leatherman makes great stuff.

Good luck!

First stop would be the knife center for one of Eagle Industries' contracted cordura ESEE-5 sheaths. 55 bucks, and I have to say that sheath is just spectacular. Other than that, your choices are limited to aftermarket Ontario RD6/RAT5 sheaths, or Survival Sheath Systems' survival sheath. Either way you're paying about 50 bucks... I've exhausted all the options ;)

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm still working through all the options. The one major problem I'm running into is the blade length of the M9 - a tad over 9 inches. Most of the sheaths out there max out at 8".

The Basic Modular Sheath by Spec Ops is right on the money, but it only takes up to an 8" blade. It's nice because it's already set up to have another sheath attached to it. Finding the sheath for the Ratmandu isn't a problem; just the damn beast of the M9.

So the RMD fits well in the ESEE-5 sheath?

Ive been debating knives the past few days, but If I could throw an RMD on the ESEE-5 sheath and either piggyback an izula or altoid tin to the sheath that's my ideal setup.

I'm not quite sure if the the Ratmandu will fit the ESEE-5 sheath, but I know I won't have a problem finding something in Cordura/nylon when the time comes.
