Does anyone know if a Cordura sheath for a Cold Steel khukuri fit an 18" HI WWII? Curious since I just received one from Yangdu w/o sheath. Maybe someone here has both and could compare. Thanks

That would depend on which sheath I guess. Off hand I'd say no. The sheath for mine is not big enough for the thicker blade and the curves don't match.

The sheath is for a 18" Cold Steel Khukuri machete. The sheath is selling for 9.99 on an internet retailers website. I thought for that price it would be a cheap deal if it fits. I guess not...thanks

The CS mache. . .er, "kukri" is much thinner than an HI kukri. It'd be like a rottweiler humping a poodle.

Yeah, thats what I thought. So its off to the "Sarki Shop" for a real one.

I think I've got a link at home to where you can buy this scabbard. I'll check tonight.

No, but they used to be available for purchase. I've got the link at home and will post it tonight.

I use a Cold Steel Khukri sheath for my 18" WWII. It's for their khukri not the machete so it's leather and stretched to fit. It's a tad short, but is way more compact and easier to transport than the sheath that came with it.

Thats a cool sheath, but the knife that it is made for is 17" with a 11.5" blade. Too small for my 18" WWII. May fit something else in your collection. Let us know when you get it. Thanks Steve
