Cordwrap, anyone?

So i have gotten comfortable working with wood and micarta, etc for handles and i want to try cord wrapping more. I just dont have much accessible information about it right now. does anyone know good patterns or techniques they are wiling to share?
the basic wrap and the diamond pattern i have figured out, but i was specifically wondering about the cool "knots" or what have you, that are on the blade end of the handle of the Hisshou by CRKT... i hear its a hard technique, but i am willing to learn.

There are a lot of resources, once you have a couple of knot names you can search for others.

Try a search for lanyard knots.

Apparently the knot i was thinking of was a "turk's head knot", undeniably racist, but undeniably cool.

There are similar knots called bell rope knots. I used some of these for this blade I put a handle on and made a similar sheath for.

Contact Pohan Leu. His cord wraps are among the best. He even did a Hemp cord wrap for me that's outstanding.

Hopefully this isn't considered a hijack, but does anyone have a link to how to do a Chinese-styled wrap? Like seen here?

I've only been able to find one diagram before, and it gave only so-so results. Given how tight those wraps seem to be able to be done, I'd be surprised if the one I found was authentic.

I actually learned to do a turk's head knot by using this tutorial. The early stages threw me off a little years ago when I started but I eventually got the hang of it. You just keep doing the process and threading it along the same path if you want to do a double or triple strand knot.
