Corelon handle material

I have a few knives with corelon handle material. I know celluloid emits gases and may be harmful to knives in close proximity with those having celluloid scales, but is the same true for corelon scaled knives? Is there any information posted on the web concerning corelon?

Do you mean corian? They make kitchen countertops out of it. I don't think that there is anything to worry about if it is the same stuff your talking about.
