Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if a corporation can own an auto where it is not normally legal for an individual to do so? I live in WA, where I believe I cannot own an automatic knife.

While I'm not sure on the specific laws regarding WA, here in Canada automatic knives are legal to possess if you are active law enforcement, paramedic or similar and have the needed criteria to buy it through the national stocking system or other distributor. I can only assume that if your corporation is one that would encounter life and death situations where you need to open your knife with one hand, then you should be able to apply for special permits. As for more information on that, you'll have to wait for a reply from someone with more intimate knowledge of your area.

Not sure about knives, but I know that with guns, the individual representing the corporation who is making the purchase must be legally eligible, and is required to fill out the paperwork with his name, and indicate that it is a corporate purchase.
