Correct sheath for this 105?

If you mean if it is the original sheath to the knife, NO. The sheath shown is a custom optional sheath from the 80's for a model 121 knife. The 121 is about a half inch longer than a 105. The leather handled 105's were a special issue for LL Bean and came with a tan sheath with LL Bean embossed on the front. That said, if you like the sheath and the knife fits, it is the "correct" sheath for you.

See post #33 in this thread to see what the LL Bean sheath looked like.

Hey Roger, this is the second stacked leather 105 that has shown up on the forum in the last couple of days that does not have a LL Bean logo on the blade and the blades appear to have a perfect/original Buck satin finish. Did any of the LL Bean stacked leather knives not have the blade logo or is it purely coincidental that both of these knives had the logo expertly removed?

Good observation, I missed that and do not know.

Now totally stretching.... stuff like this sometimes seems to come out of the factory clearance sales as overruns.
I wonder if Makael or Dogpound77 have seen any leather 105's without the LL Bean logo there.
