No, I'm not trying to delete a negative comment... :D

Another member has left me a *favorable* comment...but I don't recall the transaction (I've only sold/bought maybe 6 knives/items here total)...

If someone were to ask me why I haven't returned the favor (or would I recommend this person), it's because I have no memory of it... :(

So rather than tell someone that I'm senile, can *any* comments be deleted???

Thankyouverymuch!... :p

We don't delete comments unless it's obvious that someone screwed up while making them, and that user requests it.

OK. I know my memory is getting bad...I can recall events from high school [1967] but I can't remember what I had for dinner two nights ago... :(

Click on your own name in one of your posts to go to your profile. Click on "View all feedback for chickentrax." Click on the rating summary (it's not hard to guess which one to click on, you only have one so far....) and that takes you to the thread in which you bought the knife.

If there is a link to the thread where the purchase was made or the sale was made as the case may be I don't see what diff it makes if you remember it or not so long as the thread is valid and you and he were involved in it. Simply click the link and refresh your memory and give him the reciprocal feed back once you see that its valid whether memory comes back to you or not.

Thanks to both of you for the responses! :)

I did just as you suggested, several times in fact, but I don't see my username or a post by me in that thread...

I did contact the seller, and he assures me that I did indeed buy the knife (or two) from him...But I can't find any USPS MO receipt from me to him, or any mention of it in the various Forums here...

It does kind of upset me, because my older sister has memory problems, and I'm not sure if I'm going down that path, or it's just a natural case of old age catching up with me... :(

(See, your memory is like a chamber pot...When you're born, it's empty...Then, as you get older, it fills up slowly...When you hit 50 or so, the crap starts overflowing...and there's no way to separate the good crap that you want from the bad...) :D

What I think happened is that when the iTrader feedback was backdated, he went to the thread he quoted and gave feedback but selected me by mistake...My username is nowhere on that thread; I have no receipt to him; no name & address in my "purchases/addressbook" (in the PC hooked up to my printer); and no reason or need to purchase the Buck knives he gave me favorable feedback for...(My local Wally World had all I needed for my mangling)... :)

It's my belief that I got the credit, and someone else got left out... :(

That's not right...

There's a lot of us on the Buck Forum who trade/buy & sell/mangle Buck 110's and 112's and it's easy to get confused about who's doing what and who needs this or that...

...But my original question has been answered; if my favorable feedback can't be deleted, I'll just have to live with it... :D

But I'm not going to leave reciprocal favorable feedback for what I believe is someone's mistake...
