Corrosion resistance of para 3 liners?

Hey all, so I’m doing a big backpacking trip next week and was planning to either bring my para 3 or spydiechef as my only blade. I will be walking through many streams and sweating heavily throughout the trip, and given how much of a pain in the ass it was to swap the scales on the para, I have no interest in disassembling and cleaning any time soon. The para 3 has S45 blade, terotuf scales and titanium everything else. The chef is the chef. Should I worry about corrosion on the liners and just go with the tried and true chef, or are they pretty resilient to corrosion? Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about the Para 3 liners, they are very, very resistant to corrosion.
I carry mine at work, as an industrial mechanic (temperature/environmental extremes, wet, sweat), and have yet to find any corrosion between the scales and liners.
Since you've already disassembled yours for the scale swap, it should be a breeze to take apart, the next time you choose to do so.

I've carried plenty of Spydies, including my older S30V Para 3, on backpacking trips. The only one that had corrosion issues was a ZDP-189 Endura, and that was only a few rust spots on the blade. I'd expect a new S34VN Para 3 to do fine, unless you're one of those people whose sweat destroys steel.

I just had my pm2 clipped on my bathing suit at the beach, swimming in salt water. Rinsed it with fresh water when I got home. The only issue I saw a few days later were the stop pin and lock faces looked hazy.

I’ve yet to own a Spyderco with liners that didn’t get rusty after carrying them for a while.
