I'd really like to know if the handle on this thing is any good.
I have the 6'' ti-lite and love the handle on it, but i still wished it was a fixed blade, and therefore i'm looking at the Cold Steel Corsican.

Funny, without me knowing it that looks like my latest product. I didn't know I was making a "corsican" knife.

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=639424 Right here. It's probably a bit smaller than the Coldsteel version though.

And a lot more functional. ;)

Honestly, the Corsican has no edge--it's an overpriced micarta-handled icepick. And even if it did have an edge the geometry is all wrong for it to ever have much slicing ability. If it's really what you want, go for it, but I'd say go out and find yourself an icepick, and maybe swap out the handle for something more flashy. :o

I've always thought it is a bit silly even for Cold Steel, who are known to offer all kinds of odd things. Maybe it's polished like heck so it's pretty and all but the original price was quite ridiculous too.

Well it's made for stabbing, not cutting.
I can't find any pics except stock pics when i search, so it's hard to see what it really is.
