Cosco your bow is finnished. It needs little working tomorow, string, wax coat, but bassically its there. Will you pick it up at monday?

It came out rather strong and since the wood isnt too dense it looks like the mediaval bows. I wasnt able to allign upper horn nock as I wanted, because of poor horn I have to work with, but otherwise its a fine weapon.

Great!

I did not want to bother you during Christmas.

Next monday will be fine. We can shoot some arrows just to make you laughing :D

Green Ice, Hawk makes some beautifull bows. I let it him to present his work.

BTW. I got six arrow shafts from my friend together with the feathers and brass tips. Do you feel like we can work a little on them when beeing together?

Cosco, I didnt measured the drawweight of that bow of yours, but I suspect it will only eat heavy shafts.
Take whatever you have, If your arrows would be too light, I will give you few 3/8 ash shafts in exchange.

The shafts are 7,9 cm/0,311 inch dia and 80 cm long. White and lightweight wood :(

cosco

That will be too light and too underspinned (means that they will be not stiff enough). But I have some 3/8 ash and 10 mm pine, which we will use. As I said take with you.

Thanks ICE.

COSCO: I took the weight down but it is still very strong.I guess that the wood was better that I suspected. It has also 2 inches of reflex.
Expecting you at monday.

I am glad it is strong.

I wont be able to fall asleep until monday! :D

Monday Around 10 am.
