No malice or sarcasm intended by this question, just curious as to why the Satin Finished MoFos cost $100 more than the Tactical Grades. If I understand the double cut finish correctly, it takes even more work than the satin finish to apply. I guess that I had always assumed that the LEs cost more than the CGs because of the additional finish work (and limited quantity, of course). It seems that the SF and TG MoFos would take about the same work to produce, and they are each limited in availability.
Will the SF MoFos exhibit more attention paid to grinding and finishing? From an economic standpoint, I see how pricing the SF MoFos higher will increase their collector's value simply because fewer of them will be created out of the 250 blanks. An astute strategy, especially if the manufacturing costs for each model are similar.
On an unrelated note, I'm surprised that Uncle costs the same as Mr. (hmmm...that sentence just doesn't sound right!). The original Mojos cost so much to make because of the blade catch IIRC. But for only $40 more than the originals, I'm not complaining
.
I guess I'll have to wait until I get my two Mr. MoFos to find out....
