What is the going price for small Reg with graphics? A friend offered to sell me one in excellent condition, no box or papers. I didn't see the date code, but it has the ridges on the edges of the scales that I think indicate it's an early model.

Looks kind of like this one, which is a screen shot from the Post Your Regs thread (thanks, silican).

The date stamp is important without the box or paperwork. BG42 brings a better price than S30V.
A complete CRK in original condition that is mint will bring the best price. I would guess that the knife only would bring $600.00+ value.
Just because it’s a regular doesn’t mean it’ll bring top dollar, a graphic has to appeal to someone for them to buy.
If you think your friend is asking a reasonable price, buy it. Don’t kick yourself later on for not buying it.

It would be nice if there was a general appraisal guide like NADA or KBB but for old CRK knives. Every now and then I see one for sale I might like but can't really judge if it's a good deal or not.

I know. These knives come up here and there and it seems like a hell of a lot of money, but if it's less then they can be resold for, it's still a good deal, if not a bargain. So hard to tell though. On the other hand if everyone knew the value of these things, it would mean less chance to stumble on a really great deal.

I recently saw a '95 P Sebenza somewhere. I kinda wanted it but it was a lot of money and I didn't know how fair of a deal it was or who I could ask for a straight opinion. There's another site that deals old knives that still lists all their old sales and the price they went for but most of listings are anywhere from three to ten years old so I don't know how valid of a reference they still are. The P Sebenza's gone though. Maybe I should've just bit down and bought it.

If you want to know what older CRK's are worth , you've got to put in the time. I bought 2 older models for what seemed like crazy money at the time. Now I'm glad I did! Still buy what you like , there is no guarantee prices will continue to go up.

I just bought used large regular for a decent price
Im planning on using the snot out of it but I'm a little weary of what happens if the blade were to break. Are replacement blades still available strictly for warranty purposes? These are supposed to be knives you can use and pass down for life times. Sorry if this is a little off topic but I think it's important to know if you plan on buying a regular sebenza to use.

The warranty replacement blades for the Regs are gone. That being said, unless you're going to use the Reg for something a knife shouldn't be used for, I highly doubt you will ever need a blade replacement. That or if you just sharpen/grind in into oblivion. I would use it with no worries.
