Costa del Mar Sunglasses?

I just started work at a new employer and found out that I can get Costa del Mar sunglasses at 50% off the MSRP price. I've heard they're high quality lenses, but how do the frames hold up for an active person? Also, I'm not one to baby my sunglasses, I don't usually use cases, I just stick them in my pocket when not worn, will that be a problem?

Thanks.

Amator,

I have a pair of Costas, the Deep Blue and Fathom.

They have a tough nylon composite frame with scratch resistant glass lenses. Both pairs look almost brand new, even after years of use.

I'd recommend the brand to anyone.

have worn mine for over five years sent back to have defective lense replaced.would recomend to any one.i own two pairs

Here on the Gulf Coast, they are the trendy glasses to own. The Glass lenses are not tempered and if you drop them they shatter. I own a pair and wear them when I am on the water. My EDC sunglasses are a pair of Oakley SI HalfJackets XL with Polarized Lenses. Costas? Ya cant beat 1/2 off, buy em!

Had one pair for around fifteen years, had the frame fail twice (not abused). Replaced at $30 a pop. Mine were a little on the heavy side I thought.

Action Optics have been more durable, at least for me.

I have some native silencers, polarized lenses with four different lens options and I love them. And if they shatter, all you have to do is send in any part of them and I think its 30 dollars and they will send you a new set. I have been very very satisfied with them.

I have several pairs. If you fish there is nothing better for looking underwater. I think they have the best polarization. I really like driving with mine too.
