Costco's 2011 Macallan Single Malt is in stores!!!

Heads up for you Busse single malt lovers here! Costco has just gotten their Macallan private bottling for the year. My store here in SW Denver received 8 cases wednesday overnight, and 5 cases were gone by 3pm yesterday. In the 15 mintues I was sitting there, I watched 12 bottles walk out the door not including the two I bought. This stuff goes fast! While it may not be the best Speyside Single Malt out there, it is always a great value.

This year's bottling is a 15 year old, finished in Sherry casks as before. It was $49.99 per bottle at my store (the only Costco allowed to sell alcohol in CO), limit two. Costco item #419432 - "KS 15 SCOTCH" Here is a picture:

No problem guys! It's good stuff too! It isn't as good as the 18 year there, but it is quite a bit smoother and more refined than the 12 year. I think I'll have some more! Good luck finding some!

Hint: Call your local store and ask customer service using the item number I posted to see if they have it before wasting a drive.

Turns out that I'm an idiot! I jetted into Costco at 9:30am when they opened only to remember that liquor is only sold in State Liquor stores in Ohio. . . . . .

They have wine and that's it!

Sent me into such a downward spiral that I had to buy 6 gigantic salmon filets and massive quantities of pens, pencils, and post-it notes. . . .

Gonna see if they have it online. . . .
