Costly April Fool's Joke on Me

I ordered a brand-new Spyderco Civilian from a very reputable online retailer. I left instructions to send me a brand new, unused model (something that hasn't been returned). I came home today to find that a serrated point is completely missing (big chip). :o

By the way, I'm active LE, and ordered this fine implement as soon as I had very sketchy incident where I was thinking "I wish I had a better knife".


Joke's on me, I guess.
 
Contact Spyderco, they will make it right. I have had excellent success with their warranty and returns department.
 
Update. The retailer finally processed my return. And now the replacement is backordered for two weeks. I canceled the order and went through Bladehq.com. Hopefully I have something in my hands soon.
