I recently recovered my stolen 51 Morpho from someone I thought was a friend, and upon taking it back I found 2 screws missing, 1 of which was a pivot screw. the blade is also scratched somewhat. I was going to send it in before as the spring for the spring latch was missingm and now I'm wondering what it would cost to have the screws replaced, scratches removed, and spring latch fixed.

Why not call them and ask?

Benchmade is very good in this department. The screws should be done for free as well as the spring. I got one from someone and the entire latch and pin were missing. I sent it in for service and they replaced the latch and pin and sharpened it. As for the screws, I have called them many times with missing screws and clips and they will send them out asap. The scratches are different. I am not sure they will repolish the blade for you at all, but there replacement blades are not very expensive at all. I have had three blades replaced at the cost of the blade ($25-$35) PLUS $5 for return shipping. Give them a call and tell them how it happened and I am sure they will help you. I have always had the best of luck with their service department. Keep me posted.

does anyone know the size of the screws on this knife? Not the pivot screw but the ones in the channel of it.

Benchmade no longer charges for return shipping. Send it in with a letter asking for it to be brought back to spec. Explain what the situation is, and leave your email address and phone number. And of course shipping address. Then wait for a response. I promise Benchmade will take care of you.

They don't charge for repairs.

The scratchs though will probably remain.

I just got 14 knives back from Benchmade's warranty department for everything from new knives with factory defects to ones I bought used that had been modified by prior owners. They brought everything back to factory spec (including my 51 Morpho). The only thing I paid for was shipping to them and a couple of blade engravings.
They have excellent warranty service.
