Costume Designer for The Walking Dead keeps a knife on her boot

Think that's what Kevin Smith just said to her. Anyway, she uses it to tear up clothing worn by zombies. Seems to feel it works better than scissors for that purpose. Looked like a CRKT Bear Claw or something similar. She did a little demo on a conveniently placed dress.

Makes sense, scissor cuts would be to clean, there clothes are meant to look ripped and torn from wear and tear.
