Hello all,

This is my first post, so please be gentle with me:p

I have a scallion that I use for EDC duty...works superbly for that never had any problems with it, love that knife and for sure it is not the last Kershaw I am going to buy!

However recently, it doesn't open as it used to do, most likely it's the torsion bar, no biggie, I'll just pop down to the shop and get a replacement...but nope they didn't have one..

Now, I do live in Japan, which might explain things, still I can't find one.
So, I mailed Kershaw US about my problem, hoping they could help me out.

It has been a week since I sent the mail and I haven't received any reply yet..how long does it normally take?
Maybe I am just being impatient?
 
Welcome viking! I'm not familiar with international mail times, but I do know email gets there instantly. I'd shoot them an email and say exactly what you said here, and ask that they ship ya a torsion bar or two.

Follow this link and they should fix ya right up. There's one drop down choice there, and you want Customer Support.

Let us know how this works out!
 
I already sent a mail a week ago, but i still haven't heard anything...
Anyway, I sent a second mail, so lets see what happens.

I have only heard good things about their customer service, so I am confident they will help me out!
 
Are you sending electronic mail or written stick-it-in-an-envelope-and-hope-it-gets-there mail?

I sent an e-mails to Kershaw..I can't remember the last time I sent a "real" letter.:D

I have no doubt they will help me out, so I ain't worried
 
Sometimes I haven't received a response but a few days after contacting them the parts I asked for arrived.
