Except for the dip in the spine of the chef's knife, looks like a hell of a set!

Especially since, if you worked in a commercial kitchen, nobody could take them without getting caught!

Now that is cool Mycarta!
Nice work. I'm in the middle of making a set of kitchen knives for my girl. I've been using maroon Micarta. Hope she doesn't see your Mycarta or I'll be remaking them!

I for one like the dip as I know it offers a chefs grip when choking up on the blade.Your micarta is cool.:D

i had been asked about the finger grove and the drop in the spine
the "finger coil" alows for the pinch grip to use your middle finger as a povit ish as that about the blalance point of the knife
the spine drop also makes for a more balanced grip by putting the handle hump up in your hand alittle better without having you index finger bumping the blade

thank you all for the kind words also

 that smaller one would make a great campfire knife also!
Wont loose those in the kitchen amongst the greens:D

how much for a set im work in a commercial kitchen and my globlas are for all intents and purposes almost dead if i can get em cheaper that the stainless al mars ill get some

Your digging yourself into a very nice little niche. Good work. It will only be a matter of time until I place my order.

soo it seems
but thats ok i like cooking and kitchen stuff
bright colors keep stuff from walking away:D

There is only so much market for black G10 tactical knives with S30V blades and black kydex Tek-Lok sheaths. It's nice to see something different. It's like having a fresh glass of water to cleanse an over-stimulated palate.

I hope you make a million dollars with these beauties. I think they're fantastic. It won't be long until you've got me collecting kitchen knives.

I think there's definately a market for these knives. Alot of people I know "light up" when they see bright colors. It makes your work stand out and be more appealing than the plain browns, blacks, and greys usually found in the kitchen. A great niche market! Good luck!
