Could I get some opinions on Entrek?

I haven't found too much bad stuff, but I really want to hear from people who have used them (the larger models in particular). I want to know about edge holding, ductility, and any fracturing. Thanks, everyone!

I have an Entrek Huntsman. Fine edge - strong tip. I have not used it.
Ray Ennis is an accomplished knife maker. I think it is safe to infer that the Entrek line of knives will perform similarly to other properly heat treated 440C.
These are truly overlooked and a fantastic bargain.

I dont own any but I have made sheaths for 4 or 5. I would call them very well made, sturdy using knives. Not a collector item probably but great users.

I've worked the heck out of a Scout. I had to re-profile the edge, but it works really well now.

I think they are well made, but too thick on the edge. The kydex sheaths are of indifferent quality.

I've one of Ray's old Ronins from the predecessor to the Entreks - the Montrocs... And any of Ray's pieces rock!

We're talking, IMHO, that Ray is there with Greco, Dozier and one or two others who produce exceptional user oriented knives out of established quality steels at a price level that is way less than what one might think they'd be worth... and they ARE worth every penny...

Just find the blade style you like and try the handle-ergos on it... exceptional!

I have a couple Entrek knives. All of them are great knives. I have been really impressed with the edge holding on the knives I have, although they are all smaller pieces. I know his knives have been reviewed several times in different mags, and they always do well. Ray is also a great guy. I will say I have not been too impressed with his sheaths, but I think he has redesigned all of his sheaths and is using different materials now.
