Could it be an old Mikov officer knife?

I have one old (more than 14 years old) officer knife bought in Europe. I has wrote letter to Mikov factory about this "SAK" but have no answer to this moment. Does anybody has knife like this? The pliers, springs and handles seems to it at Mikov officers, but the can opener is not.

Sorry to say but my gut tells me that it's a Chinese Vic clone.:( I've not got a Mikov myself but I have seen one or two and yours just doesn't feel right. I'll quickly add that I'm no expert on Milkov stuff, so I could be wrong.

I had a pair of 2 layer Mikov knives in the past, they both looked a lot like the Swiss officer knives made by Wenger and Victorinox. They didn't have the red cellidor scales though, but black scales with a rough texture.

I remember that both of them had the text "Mikov" stamped on the main blade. On the other side of the main blade there was such as "Czech" stamped, but I'm not sure how it looked like.

it looks like a rough old chinese clone to my eyes also, and its becouse i used to own one of those copy... it makes my new swisschamp so well build....

Interesting. The Chinese clones that I've seen thus far don't have such texts in German stamped on them. It could be German made. I have a very old German made "SAK" from Solingen, so they made such knives there.

Sorry for the image quality. Bad celullar camera.

Very good Swiss Officer Knife replica, I just bought a brand new one (from former Czechoslovakia) in a store with an old stock of these knives.

I agree eith SuzukiGS750EZ, I think Mikov replicas have "stainless" on main blade, not "rostfrei".
