Could KA-BAR USMC Utility Knife with serrated blade be from WW II?

Hi.

I have a problem with my KA-BAR. Wondering from what Year he is?

My Friend from Canada bought this on some auction and they said to him, that this is a knife from World War II.

What is trouble me is the serrated blade, was it already in 1942-1945?

No, this is NOT from WW2. IIIRC, the serrated blade versions of this knife did not come out until 2003. It is model #1219. The sheath is also NOT what came with the knife from the Kabar factory.

good eye zzyzzogeton. not even close too ww2 era. may I ask what you payed for it. Tomar's kabar's has a pic inventory of some wwll knives.
