I've got a red head 0-35 # regulator on the tank, a needle valve and a shut off valve in line just before it hooks up to the burner tube. This way I can adjust the gas flow or shut it off right at the forge if need be. You can get the red head from your local propane gas and parts supplier. Be sure and get a needle valve and shut off valve, if you get both, from your propane supplier also, a water line valve won't last long with propane use. Used to be about $35 for the red head but that was about 4 years ago. Good luck
