Could someone post a picture of one of the red bone 110's?

I have two 110's (from 1991) that are supposed to be brown bone. Neither one of them look very brown to me, more red or pinkish. I'm showing them along side a brown bone 501 also from 1991 that looks like I would expect brown bone to look like.

Are my 110's brown bone or red? :confused:



 
I have a brown bone one, I'll post a picture....I managed to find it for 26$ at a pawn shop, they knew what they had lol

I too thought that it looked like it had a red/pink tint, though it also looked purplish from other parts as well. When I saw the ad, it makes it a bit more obvious

Thanks, I remember the thread now. Your's also appears to have a pinkish cast to the bone where it's smoothed off at the bolster ends. I was just wondering because the top knife of mine came from eBay and was sold on there by SMKW's. It has some aftermarket filework done to the blade and since it was a used item, I thought perhaps the box might not be the correct one. It also came with a black sheath, not the one like your's and I don't know if that's correct either.

The 501 sure looks more brown to me that the other "brown" ones.
 
thanks, I like the file work, I've always liked filework. I would love to try, but mine wouldn't even look that good...unfortunately.

I've got to say, it makes the brown bone 110 different from all the others, I am stating to like it.
