I'm really enjoying my GEC #73, love the style and was wondering if a #23 should be my next purchase. I'd really appreciate a pic of one in hand if anyone has one handy. Handy, get it?;)
 
I got one in a trade about a week or two ago and it's a beast - very big and hefty. Sorry for the lack of a pic, but it is comparable in size to a Buck 110.

The springs are typical GEC-stiff, but I am able to get enough grip on the spine to "pinch" it open, which helps.

They're good solid knives. I really liked mine, but just thought it was too beefy to pocket carry for myself only. I ended up carrying/using a wharny Barlow, but it is a bit shorer at 3".

Very nice bone & that's a liner lock one, too, nice.
 
That Grizzly cut scale pattern is amazing. It might be my favorite. Thanks for the pic. Once I get paid for this project I'm working on, a #23 will be mine.
