Could the SFNO be the most requested Busse of all time?

What do you guys think, could the SFNO be the most requested Busse ever? I say we petition the Boss Hog for an unchanged re-release of the CG SFNO in the near future. It could be the perfect blade and with so many of us that missed the boat.......................pleeeeeaaaaaasssssseeeeee! :D

I am with you. If I lived closer to the shop I would camp out front and bug him every day.

Have I mentioned that I need an SFNO.

I think it's most requested because it was early in the new production protocol, and people weren't used to not being able to order any Busse they wanted. That made orders low, and the Company Store didn't exist yet to place a huge batch order. So supply is low. There was also a huge jump in Busse popularity soon after the SFNO came out, so demand is high.

I think other patterns might be in more demand, but people don't reasonably think Jerry will make them - like anorexic badgers.

With that in mind, I had to pull my SFNO - magnum tan canvas, DC - out of the drawer for a quick parade. :D

I think it's just the hot knife on the moment. It's a great knife no doubt, but there are other Busses that are more available that are in the same category (as far as blade lenght, etc.) The ASH-1 is coming soon, and there are still SH-e's and FSH's that have been popping up on the exchange recently. There's nothing in particular that the SFNO can do that those can't. I'd probably get a CGSFNO if they were offered, but I don't need one. Not bad enough to trade a kidney for anyway. :D

It's a great looking knife and I do want one, but not at the prices they're going for lately. Everyone is different and this is just my thoughts on it. I'm sure it revs some people's engines more than others.

For whatever reason, the SFNO has been desireable for at least as long as I have been here. While that isn't too long, the knife has shown that it can stay at or near the top in terms of desireability for a fairly decent period of time. No, it's not an SHBM in that regard, at least not yet. ;)

As far as bugging Jerry about it? IMO, a true HOG *MUST* show patience, at least once in awhile. All good things come to those who wait, Grasshopper! :D :p

I'm thinking the ASH1 is the most desired. I bought a custom ASH1 at Knob Creek, won two more from the Knobganzaa, and plan to buy about six more when they are offered from the Busse site! It's the anniversary knife for a reason.

I have the patience of a mountain and some youth on my side at 37.

But the pics of all these SFNO's lately are chipping my mountain away.:o
I might have to pick up the phone and talk to this Garth fellow soon.;)

Yes, personally I think it's the most requested Busse:thumbup:

Well, I LOVE the SHSHII, but I would buy SEVERAL of the CG SFNO with original saber grind. These would be great give-aways to my younger brothers going into the armed services. I like the 'in-between' size of the SFNO. Big enough to get the job done, small enough to carry. It's still a 'big' knife, but not too big. Have I waffled enough yet? :D

SFNOs suck. Worst knife ever. I have no intention of getting one. In fact someone just send me one of their "Extras" and I will show you how much I dislike it by beating on it daily.:p:p

No, it is the FOLDER!!!! :grumpy:

Quit whining, at least there are some out there to have for a price, you can't have a Busse FOLDER at any price!!!!

As of right now I think it is..
Once the combat grade SFNO' s price was known ($280) there was a huge barrage of interest.
For that price everyone wants one now.

Hell Razors are in high demand as well. Maybe not as high as the SFNOs, but their prices have sky-rocketed as well...

It would be good to know when the CG SFNO's get offered at the company store again.
If so, will there be any heads up, or will they just randomly appear there?

If it is soon after the next offering I may only limit myself to buying 2 ASH1's.........

Unless Jerry pulls a fast one on us, SFNO's would first appear for order on the Combat site, then be released to the Company Store after they had been delivered to those who'd ordered them. (Or did they show up at the Company Store for a few hours after Knob Creek ? ) Pete
