Could use some advice on leather selection for some new projects.

I want to start making liners for a few of my folder sheaths, some watch bands, and projects that will be using thinner leather than I have used in the past.

I have mostly used 8-10 ounce cow leather from Wickett and Craig in the past - and have not used any leather other than cow.

I am wondering - if I were to buy some leather for the projects mentioned above - what animal and weight leather would you recommend?

I wont be doing a ton of this work - and my projects wont be that large - so I don't mind paying a little extra.

I like to use deer hide for lining my sheaths

Wickett and Craig will shave it all the way down to 1 ounce. Talk to Glen and ask for a little piece. He will get it for you. Tell him what you want it for. KT
