Could use some help - making a Dog Collar.

I want to make a few dog collars as give away's for a local charity auction. I have never done before - and would need a list of fitments and the like that would make making a dog collar easy.

I likely have all the tools to make the leather portion easy - but am unsure what I need besides tools and some leather.

Any tutorials would be greatly appreciated.

Tal, I do leashes and collars, I use 5/8" brass O and D rings, with one top center as the point of attachment for the leash. I use a roller buckle as it doesn't mar the leather quite as quickly as dragging it over a stationary bar. I also twist, as opposed to stitching.
