We hear a lot of terms bandied about like toughness, tensile strength, yield strength, ductility, etc. Could one of you guys who knows about such dark arts come up with a list of relevant terms for us dim people and tell us what each of these properties might do for knives, axes, hawks, sharpened pry bars, clubs with a semi sharp edges, zombie skewers, really badass sporks, etc.? Much oblige. :D

A technical glossary ?
Maybe you could take on the task yourself.
Mr. Google and Wikipedia can teach you loads of accurate technical definitions about such words.

I think that it would be more productive and certainly quicker if someone who knows what they are talking about does it. ;)

That is basically what Larrin is doing with his blogs. Any metallurgy book has a complete glossary of terms., too.

If someone posts or links one, I will be glad to add it to the metallurgy sticky.
