Hello Jerry,

Thanks again fior the info on the Busse Basic 5 that I call my own AND have already in Holland.

I have since what seem ages (about 2 months) a Busse basic 9 lying at a friends place in San Diego and she still hasn't found the company mail package that it could fit in to fly over to Holland

.

It is a Basic 9 where one of the former owners hand polished the epoxy coating off and used it.
It nows seems that it will chop but not cut anything like paper or hairs anymore.

Could I have my friend send it to your shop so that you could sharpen it up to "specs" and return it to San Diego ? so that when she finds time and space to send it to Holland it will be hairpopping sharp.

Could you please inform me about what you would charge for the sharpening (preferably by 'the master himself'

) and return postage to San Diego (normal insured mail will do).

Also how long would it take before the knife would be sharpened and being returned to San Diego?

I'd love to have that original so often talked about extreme sharp edge on this baby of mine.

Again, hope to hear from you,

Best scouting wishes from Holland,

Bagheera

No charge for the sharpening and only $6.95 for shipping and handling. Include a note and I'll be sure to do the sharpening myself. . . . it will scream.

Yours in nuclear sharpness,

Jerry Busse

Jerry,

THANKS for the great service, it'll probably go on the mail next week.

I can't wait using it after you gave it the nuclear sharpening

Piet,

Just as a testimonial here, Jerry did the sharpening job on that scary 5 you have.

Hi Mike,

You mean that Atom splitting edge on my Basic 5

The double convex grind Jerry did on the Basic 5 is a stunning piece of sharpenning.

Hello Jerry,

THANKS for the great service.

Receiving the knife on Monday and sharpening it and returning it the day after or so is absolutely unbelievable

The cold beer is waiting for you in Holland, and let me know what you think of the "little something" that's on it's way to you, when it arrives.
