Couldn't decide between Para 2 and Manix 2 sooo...

I just ordered a Spyderco Zulu from Grand Prairie Knives. I think I would've gone with the Manix 2 if I could've found one in FFG S30V with plain black scales. I think it's cool that Spyderco is using new colors, but I still prefer black.

Congratulations! Have fun sharpening that. ;)

You could go for the Manix 2 CTS-B75P sprint coming out soon, black scales, ffg, and B75P is suppose to be Carpenters version of BG-42

Yea, FFG & S30V is not a standard option at all with that knife. You'd have been looking the rest of your life. The colors (and steel) on the Manix2 and the Para2 are basically sprint runs

Got the Zulu in the mail today. I like it ALOT!! It's about the size of my Persistence but MUCH better quality and is exceptionally sharp. The handle could pose a problem for people with larger hands. The liner lock is also on the thin side. I carried it today looking for something to cut, but it was so comfy in my pocket, I forgot it was there. It's an awesome addition to the squad. I'm sure a Para 2 or Manix 2 will still be coming soon enough.

I thought you were going to say "so then I bought both", but still a good choice.

Both are knives that I plan to add at some point. I wish both were in my current budget. I'm trying to make sure that I get well designed knives with materials that meet my needs/desires and at an acceptable price. I think I'm slowly becoming a knife snob. I now refuse to buy the cheaper/value knives, but don't want to spend more on a knife than it's performance merits. What's happening to me? As a kid, I was happy with $5 junk knives made in Pakistan and sold at the State Fair.

I just pulled the trigger on a "regular" Para 2 and the sprint run Manix 2 with the CTS-BD30P steel. I think I am officially insane!!! I don't NEED both. But they are on their way nonetheless.

Just got home and there was a box waiting for me. Now I'm sitting like a dope fiend opening and closing My Preciouses!!!! I love them both. I want to post some photos later but have never done so on a forum. How do I find out how to do it?
