I made a couple!

I'll probably touch up the nails with a file a bit, just to round them.

Waiting for some goodies in the mail and after they arrive I'm going to disassemble this baby, and then put it back together again.

Any "watch out" fors' or suggestions? Locktite or not anywhere?

Looks like more than just a quick project with what appears to be dowels going through your handles, those will last FOREVER !

I have 2 of them that I never put loc tite on and they don't move at all, others need loc tite for sure. Some guys have tried Teflon plumbing tape and had great results.
Just make sure if you do loc tite it that you use the right one or you'll lock it up to well and have a bear of a time getting it apart, even with those fine wrenches that you made.

Other than the question about wether or not to use loc tite or not there's really nothing more to the umnumzaan other than the advice everybody gives for a CRK- be careful not to use too much grease, a little really does go a long way.

As far as scheduled maintenance, it of course varies on usage but I went almost 2 years with an EDC Zaan and it doesn't show anywhere on the pivot, blade, or washers- the CRK grease is a GREAT stuff.

Enjoy that fine knife, it's an amazing daily carry companion.
