Ordered a BK-24 earlier today. I haven't been too impressed with D2 in the past, but I'm willing to give it one more chance. My obsession never ends. For everyone that already has one, how is the edge retention in your experience?

Mine is brilliant. Granted I haven't properly beaten on her yet. But for an urban setting it has been awesome.

No complaints her either. Edge retention is great and just a nice looking blade with the stone washing. At the price for D-2 it is a no brainer.

D-2 has been very good for me. My BK24 and all my other knives have a great convex edge from the WSKS. Helps edge retention and cutting immensely.

I have been eyeballing this one and wasn't sure if I should get it or the bk14 but since I have the wsks as well I'll take the advice of Bishop2Queen's6 and go for the bk24. Thanks.

You could just get both. I don't get how some want to limit themselves to just one knife. Shamefull!! ;)

I think there was a time when I thought I only needed one. I look back and laugh now. These days I just try to limit myself to only one of each model.

I know what you mean. I want them all, at least one of each. But, I know I'll end up doubling up on a few of them (13, 14, 15 and 16 especially)

I'm with you! I've got one of nearly every model but I've started doubling up on a few -2,5,7,9,11,14. Maybe that's more than a few...: D
