After I reluctantly sold my sabre grind BK16, I have been really regretting it ever since. I finally found a deal to good to pass up in the exchange for a new one and promptly jumped on it.

Can't wait to get some time with it in the woods or even the back yard.

Really thinking about getting the micarta handles for it and making my own kydex sheath.

Got my first one of these a couple weeks ago. I love it. I think I'll probably get the micarta as well, and I'll make a leather sheath for it too. Congrats.

Yep the 16 is an awesome little knife! I'll be putting a set of G10 scales on mine soon. Congrats on your triumphant return!!!

Finally had some time to mess around in the woods behind the house. Took one of my boys up to get our trail cams.

Hiding in the brush.

Some branches in the way of our usual path.

Did some hacking to clear the branches.

All clear

Had to touch it up on the sharp maker. It was not hair popping sharp from the get go. Had a little trouble with it on the sharp maker but came out ok. I'm going to have to do a little more work on it to get it where I like it.

The boy found remnants of a black walnut and an acorn.

Retrieved our cameras

Nice, congrats. You would probably like the micarta too.

Thanks!! I really want the micarta. The grivory grips are just a little to thin for my XL hands. Kept havin to switch up my grip while cutting the limbs, as it felt like it was digging into my palm.
