We hiked a 12 mile trail that hugs the lake very closely. The picture of the house is right along the trail, but you could walk right by it as it is obscured by the trees (the close-up of the rocks is the pillar on the porch). Other pics of a beaver den, deer rub, beaver gnaw marks on a tree. This is a nice place. Has a beach that is open in season along with primitive camping, pit toilets and a few water spigots.

Great pics. It looks like a really nice place.
As an Oregonian, I have to admit, I love any place that has a lot of beaver.

Great photos and a dang tasty beer! thanks for sharing man.

Dang, between all the Missourians here i feel like i've practically hiked through the state too :D

That house made of rock and coral!? Thanks for sharing!

Wife and I call them sparkle rocks, they are all over the place in that area and others. It's not coral. I'm sure they have a real description possibly...lots of structures throughout the state are built with the same type of rocks.

I've never hiked the trail but have fishe CB lake quite a bit. Beautiful place. Very quiet down there.

More house pics....these rocks are all over the place, but you can tell the builder saved the best for that porch support.
