Hey guys first post here.
I've been rehanging axes for a while now and I picked one up from a closing antique shop today for 2 bucks. It's a council tool co head but it's in a shape I've never even seen before. I don't know if it chipped at one point and was modded but I'm curious in any case.
Thanks!!

That's what I was thinking unfortunately. In any case, it'll be a good one to give to my dad or something.

Thanks for the speedy reply:)

Jersey with the toe broken off.

Could be reshaped a bit and still be usable, and with a little creativity it may even be able to not look too weird in the end.

I agree, it could turn out nice. Worn as evenly as it is, it won't be a real hard job even. Just watch the heat as you go if your using a grinder. You could burn the corner if you're careless, but it's not near as risky as working the actual cutting edge with one.

If it was me I'd keep a hose or bucket handy and do it that way.
