Got a call from Heather at CRK, my small Night Sky seb (unique graphic w/MOP moon) is on its way :) :p

This will be a torturing week of wait.

They still have not cut the ivory on my Mnandi yet -- more torture.
BUT the ivory finally arrived at CRK. Yippee.

At the meantime, I am having a super blast with my Micata Small Seb.
It served me well on a small church project.

Happy CRK camper here :)

BTW, I have one of the night sky versions as well, my first unique. A word of advice, don't carry it unprotected with keys, change, etc. I have some pretty good scratches in mine.
 
cool, I am thinking if I should get the leather carrier with the belp loop.

But I usually prefer to have the knife in a leather sleeve inside my pockets/purse.

What do you think ?

I would tend towrad the slipcase in the bottom of the pocket. OTOH, there are many exceptional belat sheaths for sebs makers out there.
 
Congrats. You'll have to post some pix when it arrives. One of my favorites as well. I picked mine up a couple years ago, and only carry on special occations. DaveH nailed it...Spend the x-tra few bucks and spring for a nice sheath for it, you don't want it scratched up to quickly. It will be cool to see which sheath you get. Lots of fun picking it out too...

I contacted Vadim at Vess leather and he said he could emboss the Night Sky graphics on black leather.

I will send over the photo of the knife when I receive it.

Sheath shopping is fun, yes indeed = )

Thanks KCkc. Actually just luck of the light I guess. I took the picture on my fathers pool table, and the great color is just the way the light hit it.

I just received a leather sheath from Vadim at Vessleatherworks for my large LE wood. You will be very happy with his work.

CRK called on Monday.
Knife birthday was 7/31/06

I got a UPS note yeserday. Picked up the package today.
So here you go, friends....

I asked for lots of trees and shiny stars with more lavendar purplish blue tone.
They did a great job as requested.

Sorry the OTT light diffused some of the nice lavendar-blueish tone.

Wow, I didn't know CRK would make it to your specifications. Looks like you are now the proud owner of a one-of-a-kind Night Sky. :eek:
