Counterfeit Zero Tolerance 0562 knives on eBay.

It took me about 2 minutes to find four counterfeit ZT 0562 knives for sale on eBay.

They are easy to spot. All the counterfeits have a G-10 scale. They all have the same serial number. It is either 1188. or 1183. THe photographs were very poor.

NONE of the counterfeit ZT 0562 knives have the small piece of hardened steel at the end of the locking bar. More importantly. NONE of the counterfeit knives have the flat black torx head tiny machine screw that holds the piece of hardened steel in place. It should be about 10mm from the pivot. It is a glaring mistake by the counterfeiter(s), to leave that black screw off the Chinese copies of the ZT 0562.
 
I looked, saw one that said it was a clone in the title. Looks like a terrible clone too, blade stops don't even connect with the handles. At least they said it was a clone.

All the rest were CF or ti models. One other G10 model, it was legit looking at the pics though.

Did you report them to ebay?
 
A little while back I noticed some fake 0055s and some 393s. Incorrect grinds, fonts, different shaped boxes etc... I reported them, hopefully they will get shut down
 
clones on ebay is like reporting that water is wet... it's always happening...; they play whak-a-mole non-stop, and it still continues

until they make sellers pay an upfront fee to open an account, or somehow tie it to a $ bond or something, it will continue
they only pay lip service to stopping it, while collecting fees on the thousands that aren't reported

... i frankly expect ebay, amazon, and their like to be only a tiny sliver better than alibaba
or perhaps i'm just cynical in my old age
 
I reported counterfeits to ebay and then follow up with a call to Customer service. So far I've suspended about 10 Chinese sellers with fake Hinderers, Benchmades, ZT, Spyderco and Chris Reeve. Easy to spot with pictures and 20% of the original price point. I hunt those knife pedophiles (that sell counterfeits) like a maniac!
