Saw on the "Big River" site some Old Hickory lockbacks; around 5 inches closed.
Real? Phony? Real ancient old stock?

Could be old stock, do you have a link?

We did do some Old Hickory folders. They weren't really in keeping with the rest of the Old Hickory line though (made overseas, no hammer marks). The ones I saw were pretty neat - they were primarily marketed to farms and the like, and would be really useful there. Inexpensive enough that you wouldn't be upset if you lost it, but just a small blade you could carry with you. Pretty much what you'd want if you were buying pocket knives in bulk for workers.

I just sent you a PM about this.

They are along the lines of a Buck 110, but with a single finger groove.

Out of my price range, I was just courious.

Ok, now that I've seen them and gotten that description, they are not at all what I was thinking about. I will ask around and get back to you.
