Counterpoint XL - any custom sheaths available?

I just bought a new Counterpoint XL. The clip is so unflexible, it is hard to use. I relieved the tension. But, that does not help. Also, the grip is way over textured. Bottom line, pocket carry is out for me on this.

Besides that, I love the knife. Are there any sheath makers out there that would allow me to belt carry?

Cold Steel hates fabric. That's why they design their pocket clips to destroy pant pockets. I wondered why they added texture to the Counter Points and the Rajah II without leaving a smooth section for the clip. But that's what they do. The new AD-15 is great but again they produced a pocket shredder.
Personally I just fix 'em. I relieve clip tension and sand under the clip. In some cases I use a Dremel. That's what I would do with the Counter Point.
Sorry I can't help with a sheath maker.

15 minutes ago, I just got my new AD10 and Code4. The pocket clip is so tight on both of them, it is impossible to get in a pair of jeans. The AD10 is the nicest knife I have ever owned. But, the clip is horrible. Sucks to have to tweak a brand new knife. I plan to remove the clip and bend it in a vise.

Yep that's Cold Steel. I bend the clip while attached. Loop a piece of paracord underneath. Brace your hand against handle and twist wrist to lift clip. Test tension, lift more, check again, etc. I almost never over-bend but if you do then remove the clip and bend back.
I haven't received my AD-10 yet but I'm considering modding the clip by grinding it down in terms of width. That would also serve to reduce clip tension.

Cold Steel should fire their clip designer. They are my favorite knife manufacturer. But, dang. The clips suck.

No. I removed the clip. I once stripped the screws of a knife trying to bend a clip while still on the knife. I would strongly recommend removing the clip first. Especially with how stout the AD10 clip is!!!!!

Yeah that's what I usually do but I was just curious as to what way you did it. I've never stripped one, I just always completely disassemble and clean my knives when I get them, if it's tight I adjust it then.

Brhower, thanks. I put the clip in a vise and bent it. It is perfect now. I can't say enough how awesome this knife it. I own:

4Max
Code4
Rajah II
Counterpoint XL and I
Spartan
Voyager XL in Tanto
Recon 1

The AD10 is my favorite.
