When counting how many pins a Buck 110 has, do you just count the brass handle pins or do you count the stainless steel rocker pin as well?

Thanks,

Chad

I have seen people count the pins -as what they thought was the date code--like 3 dot or 4 dot---was pins on handles---duh--really---hey its a good laugh huh....

You're welcome

I will add that you will run into a lot of confused people, especially on ebay. They will count the rocker rivet because they don't know any better or they witnessed some one else do the same.

That's what I was seeing when I searched. And also the correct way so it didn't do anything other than confuse me.

Chan, most of those selling on the bay tend toward inflating to procure a bid. Not known for obtaining accurate information. Visit here for the latter. DM

they like you to call them inlay rivets, or insert rivets, they arn't made with wire and a spinner, I always didn't care, I know what someone means, pins is shorter an doesn't use as much space in a ad, but they really are expanded rivets except the rocker rivet, some of the pre 1970 110 had inlay pins you can see the inside is not expanded, the 110 has over thousand differences over the years and it takes years of research to find most of them, but you DON'T count the rocker rivet
