Damn Canuks! What makes them so special?
This thread got me to thinking about why Canadians are allowed to use the open exchange, but the rest of the international community can't use theirs?
I say either remove that discriminatory sub forum or have a private sub forum for every other country in the world like they have.

JK, about the damn Canuks remark.
I have nothing against our Canadian brothers, and have dealt with many(plus other countries) with no problem what so ever.
Its just that something is terribly wrong here when they can deal in any part of the exchange, but the rest of the world can't deal in theirs.

Its time for a change!
Equality for all!
Equality for all damn it!

Hey, it is MayDay after all.;):D

The vast majority of our traffic is the US. Canada is the next highest source. After that it's the rest of the world. Given how little traffic the Canadian exchange forum gets, I'm not opening subs for every other country

Because of user requests.

There's nothing stopping international users from posting in the regular exchange is there?

And if you want to set your terms as only selling to Lichtenstein I don't see why you'd have an issue.

To be honest, unless a non US seller is hoping to limit sales to his own country (in which case, there may be better advertising options than this site), I don't see why separate forums would be desirable. It would certainly reduce the number of views per ad. (Speaking only for myself, I never browse the Canadian section of the Exchange...the only times I have initiated responses to ads there were because I saw them while scanning New Posts.)

Okay, after reading this old thread I am more informed and understanding as to the want/need of a separate trading forum in the exchange for our northern brothers.
It's the same as for US sellers and buyers essentially... the elimination of the hassles involved in cross border dealings.
G'day eh.;)
