I loved the fantastic quality of the regular BOB for the price, but never used it much b/c too small for my needs. But then I saw the XL version - http://countycomm.com/bobxl.htm

this may be the best $40 bag on the face of the earth! A great range bag; I put a foam cushion sandwich on one side of the interior divider and now it holds:

2 pistols
1 scope
1 red dot
7 AR mags
7 1911 mags
5 9mm Kahr mags
targets
all cleaning materials: rods/patches/fluids/etc
and several hundred rounds of ammo,

all nice & tight & solid & secure. It carries easy & looks great to boot.

Previously I had bought a $40 range bag from cheaperthandirt, that had rave review, but it is a sad (although large) flimsy gym bag in comparison to the Maratac. Run, don't walk, to get one of these before someone figures out how much they could really charge for them!

I just got mine last week. My only gripe is that the side pouches (water bottle holders) are sewn in too high. I would've preferred them to be lower so that when the bag is placed on the ground, the bottom of the water bottle is resting on the ground. Otherwise its a great bag, a fantastic bargain.

Yep. Been carrying one for the past two months. Great bag for the money.

There is a new 6 part (!) series of video clips on YouTube showing how a guy stuffs his XL Maratac B.O.B. full of gear.

Part 1 may be viewed here.

Is this the same bag as CC regular BOB?

Negative. If you click the link in the first post you'll see the BOB XL compared to the BOB.... hence the XL designation.

EDIT - I realize now I may have misunderstood the question. Were you asking whether the bag from LA Police Gear was the same as the CC BOB? I don't know the answer to that. Looks the same but everyone who makes nylon these days has it copied by someone else so appearance is hard to go by.
