I hate to admit it, but there have been several occasions when I've just got to buy something, but don't know what it is that I "need". Thats where countycomm comes into play. Yesterday, I pulled the trigger on a compass, Gerber folding saw, 3" straight mini pry bar, Pico pry bar, a medium breacher bar (I already have the large, of course, which has never been used), screw key ring set, and 4 mechanics key rings.

This is not the first time I have ordered a care package for myself from countycomm. My other "needs" have included their nice BOB bags, EDC pocket organizers, field stove, Fox whistles, tweezers, EMT scissors, on and on.

Dang it, I just love their stuff.

Surely I'm not the only goofball here who does this, am I?

Nope , Countycomm rocks ! I love the selection of goodies that we may never use but are really cool to have , just in case ! :D

I almost pulled the trigger on the medium breacher bar this past week but opted instead for a Ti JYD. :)

One can only buy so many Spydies - and Busse plays hard to get - so what else is a guy to do?

Love the thread title. Never done that, but I can see how it could happen.

What has happened is I go on the web site to order one thing and end up ordering 5 other things besides.
Very cool man-toys.

lol i do it to. i order the little kit the other day cause i wanted another button compass, so i figured i might as well get the kevlar thread, pry bar, and flash light with it for 20 bucks lol. love that store

I want a technician's 4-in-1 Screwdriver from CountyComm for my EDC bag. But I need to add more to it before I order to make the shipping worthwhile. I didn't get one in my large order a few months ago. So, now I am playing the waiting game.

I had a shopping spree a couple of years ago. I have all the little toys I really need for a while. I still look at the site now and then to see if there are enough new things to justify another run. My next bunch-a-toy hit is probably going to be goinggear.com.

County Comm has made it easier to spend money by upgrading their website. They now have a search function. I'm doomed.

If only they shipped international. One day they will though, and I'll buy all the stuff I wanted to buy from them.

I was just going to say their site SUCKS. It's like you almost have to have a direct link to find some of the goodies. Like it's a secret or something...

if they would only ship to Canada...

I have even tried to order and have shipped to a US address but that didn't work, only confirmed US paypal addresses... they are making it hard for me to give them my money :)

The have some very good quality gadgets & novelties. I have a bunch of the maratac flashlights (AAA and AA); they are phenomenal little lights. It's amazing to see a AAA light absolutely shame a large D Cell maglight. I bought the waterproof match containers, the mechanics rings, the carabiners, what else...oh yeah I bought a shiz-ton of paracord and cord ends? And jeeze, it's like the cost of shipping makes me buy more too. Don't like that shipping stuff, especially since I live like 20 minutes from them. Wish they offered pickup, but they don't. Like the stuff, prices are decent, shipping is high, but you can't really find the SAME stuff they sell anywhere else. You can find analogs, but they seem to offer better quality than some. Nice niche they've carved out for themselves.

Those portable shortwave radios they sell are amazing. They are constructed really well and pic up a ton of station even in the middle of no were. prob one of most handy things i EDC in my BOB. Oh and speaking of BOB's theres is cheap as dirt and worth every penny.

I use half the stuff I buy and half of it is usually an experiment to see if I like it.

My favorites include the embassy pen, and the breacher bar and mini prybars. Mine get a lot of use and look beat on. I should take some pics.

I look at countycomm every other month, but I can't find anything that I absolutely have to own. I still love browsing their stuff though.

A pocket grappling hook - what on Earth will I do with that? And why do I sort of want one?

Love County Comm. My keys are on a blued keyring, accompanied by a set of screwkeys and a Pocket mini-bar. This is all on a Nite-Ize S-biner. The great part is, I actually find a use for this stuff! If you've ever though, "Damn, I wish I had a prybar right now," County Comm will devour your soul, as well as your wallet.

Love the kevlar thread, too!

Got the copper AAA,some cord ends & cord so far.
The Maratac AAA out shines the ITP AAA.
It has a better lanyard loop & stronger clip also.
Great little light for a twister.
Lets see,whats next....

Countycomm is awesome - I've got the mechanic's keyring in my pocket, with the pico pry bar and split pea lighter on it. Lots of little odds and ends gadgets to be had there.
