Well, my first balisong came today, a jag (all I could afford) from onestop. This raises a couple questions and comments. My brother and I both ordered one, but his seems to be constructed better; the handles are tighter to the blade, there's less vertical play. Is there a way to tighten the pins on mine? Or is it necessary? I also thought I'd say that the openings are actually harder than I thought they'd be, with a few exceptions. I can, surpisingly to myself, do the horizontal double flip equally well with left, right, and both at the same time. Sorry 'bout the long post, I'm a bit giddy

Jaguars don't usually come from the factory all performing the same. If you mail order it, you can only hope that the people you purchased it from checked them before shipping. Clay at www.balisongxtreme.com has good tips for repairing and replacing the crappy pins that come with jags. I can't seem to be able to pull up a direct link to the information, but it is in the "Tips" section. Expect the pins to fail eventually.
