Couple black woody's

Here's a couple I've been working on this past week. Both have African blackwood handles with wrought iron fittings. Top knife has a hand forged 4 1/4" saw steel blade and the bottom one is from the 1084 that Mace was selling threw Shop Talk. Big difference in the look of the two handles. The handle on the top knife was from a recent purchase and the bottom one was from a piece that survived the fire. It was alittle chared on the surface but fine after I finished it off.

Ray yes they look great.

I like the shape of handle on#1 & that #2 doesn't have guard gives good flow of lines.

Those look great Ray - I particularly like the way you executed the ferrule on top knife. Thanks for the look.

Doesnt look like a little ol fire hurt that handle at all:D again,outstanding.But what else would I expect from you.
