It is as described, lots of blade for the handle size and I like that. A very pleasing drop point blade, my favorite.
In handling it, the first thing noticed is the light weight, seems lighter than the 21 but I know it isn't. Handle shape fits my hand very well, even when hard cutting there are no hot spots.(haven't tested it hard yet)
I was able to open one handed on the first try. Closing was another matter, unless I improve my tech, it's a two handed operation.:(
I have a way to go with this knife before it's as frendly as my Small Micarta Insingo.:) Giving my poor thumb a rest from the Ti-Lock for a while.

Mr. Wing. . . I enjoyed your pictures and post. The Ti-Lock is an alluring offering and always gives me pause to consider picking one up, but I have yet to do so.

A question I have is regarding the choil--do you choke up on the blade and hold the choil on your first finger?

MMAR, thanks!
I do choke up. When bearing down as in whittling wood, etc. I also use the choil in cutting apples(grip is different of course).
I don't stab things, so no problem, grip feels secure.

Beautiful knife. I have always been a fan of the ti-lock. I keep telling myself it will be the 'next one.' Unfortunately, it never is. :(

Great comparison with the small, yep, I need one....thanks for the pics, that helped me know what direction to go in

Ajack60, hold on.
It is a great size for my needs, and I love the blade......but
I,m still having trouble unlocking. It's just not natural movement for me. Must put a lot of thought and effort into it.:( Just not smooth and effortless as with my small micarta insingo.
This could change but I don't know.

Well, most of the time I use both hands to open/close a knife, I'm not real big on one handed opening, if I'm in a situation that requires one handed opening, I'll probably be screwed anyway. It is the size of the knife that I was concerned about and you gave an excellent pic for that. I also carry a Strider for some of my chores at work.

Your observations are right on. It does have alot of blade for the handle size. I had one awhile back, but sold it off to fund another CRK. I had no trouble opening it one handled and could close it one handled also with some practice, through 2 handed is better and safer.....The original 50 were blasted like a sebenza and I feel that would give it more grip rather than the stonewashed, which for me felt slippery in hand at times. Would hate to have my hand slip forward. Maybe its just because I like the blasted sebenza and the grip it offers. It is a great knife though and I do plan on getting another at some point, I just always have so many other CRK on the radar.....

Btw.....Great Pics. Very Well Done Sir.....!!!

Looking forward to your opinions as you own this knife for longer. Like many I have always been "on the fence" about the Ti-Lock. I have come close to pulling the trigger, but never quite get there. I am interested in updates as you own this knife.

I really love the blade shape and grind, but it's not enough yet to make me love the whole package. Maybe one day.

How's it going with the Ti Lock? Has unlocking gotten easier????

Gosh I want to like this knife, almost everything spells "perfect" for my dream knife. I really like that drop point blade, and it cuts like crazy. Super handle shape, fits me to a tee. Beautiful finish all over.
I was hoping to add this to my EDC line. I may well keep it, because it is so stuning, but it would be a "Sunday" knife.

A beauty to behold.

Very good info…I am also on the fence and will see what you think of this knife in a few more weeks.

Great post - thanks.

I got to play with one today and loved it. Built like a tank, but still light. Easy to open, need a little practice on the closing though. My next in line.
